Quiet, scenic, close to town

Seems to only currently be partially operational, probably due to recent change of management. A bit confusing at first to navigate through to rooms, again because the “front” was closed up.

The room was very large and well laid out. We were warm and comfortable and it worked really well as a base for exploring. A couple of minutes drive got us supplies. Without a car would be more challenging. The proximity to stunning water was a bonus. Even more enjoyable as the weather warms, but the room was always toasty. With easy check-in and checkout we had a great stay.

It would have been even better with easier proximity to the carpark, especially for luggage.

Good price, comfortable and convenient. A little unusual but did exactly what we expected.

Run down appearance of the "old hotel " Some of the furnishings were a bit shabby but everything was functional.

The location was perfect n staff very helpful. Will definitely stay there again . excellent. Thank you . 💯

Nothing

No staff. Closed down and deserted hotel. Pool green and unusable, gardens over grow with weeds. Smashed windows. No one around, felt unsafe.

Good location on the bay in George Town. Requires a car to get to the downtown area where restaurants can be found. Convenient for penguin tours in Low Head.

Felt the decor needs a lift. Only 2 coat hangers in all of the apartment

The location on the Tamar river was lovely.We were there to visit family who lived a five minute walk away which was perfect. It was a 45 min from the Launceston airport for our trip there & back. There were interesting places & eateries close by. The owners had only just taken over a few weeks but were very helpful.

The new owners have a huge job ahead of them to overhaul the facilities and bring them up to a working acceptable standard. The large restaurant area overlooking the river is not functioning. The pool is a health hazzard,full of green algae & weeds growing on the pool cover. It place has a lot of potential in the right hands.We wish them well.
