Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites

The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the room, the shower was great. Good location for getting in and out of town. The reception staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The lighting in the room wasn't good for reading at night.

The apartment is clean. Could have done with 2 towels or a face towel instead of 1 bath towel. Everything else in the room is good. Check in staff was nice and helpful. The apartments is ok an hill but close to town.

Left my luggage behind reception. The receptionist staff saw me came back for my luggage but chooses to ignore me and continue talking to a workman. Luckily another workman open the door for me to get my luggage otherwise I would have missed my onward bus

Walking distance to shops and Bowlo where our function was. Clean, spacious and comfortable

The room had a terrible musty smell when we got there. We asked for another room but none available. Was offered air freshener to mask the smell. We tried to make the most of it and opened the windows, however at might when we closed the curtains we found black mould spots on the curtains - the cause of the smell! Slept all night with the windows open to dry get some clean air in winter, left the next day (with 3 more days on our booking). The hotel is awful and disgusting I have photos of the curtains and once I started looking found black mould on the bed sheet edges and also the chair. Will never go back. The property is so badly managed they didn't even offer any refund, disgusting.
