Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg University

I wish I filtered the reviews by “most recent.” I am reading a number of concerns with the cleanliness of this hotel. I can confirm this room is incredibly dirty!!! I ran to Krogers behind the hotel to get some essential cleaning supplies to get me through the weekend. The floors must be broom swept only because they are sticky, dirty, and covered in hair. No one moves anything to actually clean, so you’ll notice the filth under the table and chairs in the pictures. There was trash behind the towels and a breathing apparatus piece that someone left behind. There is a sticky nasty area in front of the toilet that hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. There were quite a few ants between the kitchen and the bathroom. Also, you have a “full kitchen” with a dishwasher, microwave, and a fridge, but nothing to cook on. If staying for several days, that could matter to someone else (like me) that prefers to not eat out every day. It was part of the reason for choosing the “suite.” I do not recommend this hotel and will not return.

It was Beautiful with a lot of amenities

I felt heard when I asked for special accommodations but wasn’t told that digital Hilton honor members can select their own room without checking in to the front desk . Why this was crucial is because their was a note stating if at all possible do not place anyone in & around my room due to my PTSD & hypersensitivity to noise. At the end of 1st night I had two rooms & across the hall from me taken which triggered my condition. I did let front desk know & that’s when I learned abt the “digital Hilton members” option. 2nd night was much better

This Hilton exceeded my previous experience with other Hilton. Love the firmness of the bed and excellent cleanliness of the rugs. The staffs are very friendly which made us felt very welcome. Will book again.

Always a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. From the staff to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, we are happy with everything. The only thing I don't appreciate is when the prices are doubled, tripled, quadrupled when there are football games or other events going on at VT. This hotel is not the only one doing the gouging though.

Loved our stay here. Very clean and close to Campus. We plan on staying here again

Cleanliness

Clean, friendly and comfortable. There is a cute outdoor area that was nice. My only issue was the I had a luke warm shower, and that didn't last long before going cold.
