Aloft by Marriott Houston by the Galleria

I had such a great experience here! Everything ran like clockwork, but Keshawn was the real standout. He was so proactive with my early check-in request and followed up exactly when he said he would. Watching him handle a massive crowd in the lobby with such grace and a positive attitude was impressive. Every time I passed by, he had a kind word for me—it’s rare to find that level of genuine hospitality. I’ve already booked another stay for two weeks from now just because of him! Note to Management: Keshawn is a huge asset to your team! The only minor frustration was having only one working elevator during my stay, but Keshawn’s service made up for it.

Location very walkable to shops and dining. Secure parking garage. Nice room WITH Recycling Bin!!! Nice decor. Fun lobby with pool table and fireplace. Lovely outdoor patio with firepit.

A couple of times the security entrance/exit to the parking garage was not functioning. BUT they had people working on it and it didn't delay anyone more than a few minutes.

The atmosphere was amazing, the rooms were stunning and very comfortable and the guest services provided by Morgan, Luis and David was outstanding! I highly recommend! If I could give this hotel 50 stars, I would and I'm a VERY picky person.

The Aloft company is known to have a contemporary upbeat environment but what makes it welcoming is it's wonderful staff. I had the pleasure of meeting Morgan today and was not expecting the professional level of hospitality she offers to me and all other guests that had the pleasure to be taken care of by her. Her knack for hospitality and creating a personal connection to all her guests makes me feel confident in Aloft and it's establishments for quality of service.

The stay started alright, the 2nd day on a 10 story building the elevators stopped working, that continued to be out the remainder of the stay. The 2nd night people were screaming and yelling and could be heard throughout the entire 9th floor, security came up and failed to do anything. I was told well it’s spring break week. If you have a bigger truck you can’t even park but on the 1st level which is not much parking but yet still get charged for parking at $25 a night. There were also over $250 in unauthorized charges. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere Update: 2 days after staying I got charged another 283.97 making it a total of almost $600 and yet the hotel can’t seem to figure out the charges. DO NOT STAY HERE

Morgan and her co-worker (I forgot his name) were wonderful! They had me laughing at check-in. The entire staff, even the housekeepers, were all smiles every time I interacted with them. Four stars because the elevator was down, so the wait times were long due to the rodeo crowd, but that wasn't the staff's fault. Clean, great stay for a quick trip and not too far from the Galleria or NRG.
