Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown Waterfront

I was upgraded due to certain circumstances I had nothing to do with and was given free parking for the hassle.

There was no actual restaurant in the building. The bar was ok but they didn’t have a lot of choices in drinks. The one drink I wanted they couldn’t even make.

We were overjoyed by the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff.They even provided two sunny and wind free days for road race weekend. A memory for a lifetime.....

New rooms. Cleanliness

Only had one elevator working during my stay. Made wait time too long. Had to take the stairs often. Too many guests for only one especially during the morning rush. At breakfast items where never replenished in a timely manner. I had to ask for 2 or more items every morning like, utensils, butter, water, milk etc.

Great staff at front desk, breakfast staff, room attendants. Covered parking garage across the street. Indoor pool. And workout gym.
