Winnisquam Lake Inn

Fantastic view out over the lake opposite

Room was a bit basic, but had what we needed.

Essentially there was no breakfast. Food was not re-stocked during the time we were there, three over-ripe bananas, no milk so the offer of cereal was not operative. No one around during breakfast time to refill water in Keurig coffee maker. Counter had spilled and dried food there when we arrived and was still there when we left the next day.

The absence of staff in the morning. In the room there was no place to hang clothes, the shower, which was new and a nice walk-in, had no place to put soap or shampoo.

Nice renovated room but not fully accessible. Comfy beds, good A/C, fridge. Faulty plug in bathroom. Breakfast was OK - Apples, bananas, oranges, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, juice. Outside stairs need to be replaced.

No smoke detector. Which is to detect carbon gases! There were sprinklers but those are in case of fire their heat activated.

Parking was easy and close to our room.

Very affordable, service was awesome as usual. Been there @4-5 times in 2 months and will continue with staying there when we need to. He was very friendly and was always given us decent rooms. I have told and will continue to recommend the Winnisquam Inn to other people.
