"Poor customer service"

4.0

My family arrived in July, 2016. The room was okay, clean and had a balcony. However, the walls had not been soundproofed. I can hear all the noise downstair, especially when they had a wedding party downstair. The staffs were very unfriendly. My dad asked for an extra half day to stay due to delay flight but they denied with the reason that all rooms was booked. However, as I could see, there were not many customers at that time. If I have a chance to visit Hue, I will never choose this hotel to stay again.

"Large hotel in old town of Hue"

8.0

This hotel is modern, clean and well situated for exploring the old town and visiting the imperial city. It's larger than the smaller hotels that we prefer when travelling. For example it has a large banquet room for breakfasts. It would be a good hotel for large tour groups. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well.

"엄청 바쁜 호텔"

6.0

"A real surprise in our travels..."

8.0

We were biking Saigon to Hanoi and only stayed 1 night in this hotel but were very pleasantly surprised. We found the star rating system in Vietnam incomprehensible and stayed in some hotels that had 4 star ratings but were 2 stars at best. Our experience in this hotel was excellent. Pros: Clean, pleasant room Comfy beds (firm as Asian beds are and I like) Wi-if worked great Very good air conditioning Good location to walk to restaurants etc in nice section of town Really excellent breakfast Cons No in room coffee (I love sipping a cup of coffee first thing while getting ready) Would I stay in this hotel again? Yes I would

"Decent hotel located near mail sights"

8.0

We stayed in this hotel during our visit to Hue. Nice rooms, clean, airco, neat, and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast was pretty good here, especially if you are longing for some continental bites.. The hotel is located at about 20 minutes walk from the Forbidden City.

"Strange, strange place."

6.0

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was nice, the aircon was nice and cold, the pool was clean but there was something strange about it I can't put my finger on. Maybe it's the town of Hue itself. It's not touristy like Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, but it's not welcoming to tourists either. We travel our fair share and know when to keep quiet and blend in with the crowd but regardless of what we did here we stood out. Hotel food was average at best and staff were a little strange. Perhaps it's how they're told to deal with foreigners? I hate how Vietnamese hotels want to keep your passport - there's absolutely no need and we didn't let them keep ours. It caused a bit of trouble at check in but they need to understand there's a universal rule that your passport should never leave your sight.

"Good for an overnight stay"

6.0

Stayed for a night en-route to Hanoi, the hotel was well situated for some sight-seeing and had a number of restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfy and spacious, the aircon and fan helped to cool it down fast. Good size bathroom and even our own small balcony. Breakfast was a delight - full of Asian dishes as well as fresh fruit and good strong coffee.

"Avoid the third floor"

4.0

When I arrived, I was given a room on the third floor. The room was ok, but the picture on the TV was very fuzzy and I couldn't access wifi from my room. When I complained to the front desk, I was told that they would move me to the first floor the next day (I was staying for two days). The room on the first floor was ok, but I wasn't offered any kind of compensation for my first night without wifi or good TV.
