Dumbleton Hall Hotel

Great location. Great property. But not making the most of it. Just lacking detail in all areas

Magnificent historic building set in wonderful countryside. Our 2nd floor superior room was perfectly adequate with great views. Restaurant evening meal was excellent with good service. Breakfast very good. Grounds were lovely with many rare & majestic trees. All added up to a most enjoyable visit.

Beautiful grounds and well kept gardens which is great for families and dogs but inside is very tired, much if need of a complete renovation which I understand will happen. Average to poor customer service, poor welcome at reception desk, no housekeeping in rooms - if it was on request we were not told. Breakfast average - disappointed to see a surcharge for salmon when rate advertises breakfast included. Cannot recommend - suggest waiting until renovations are complete.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, lovely clean spacious room with a tasty breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.

very nice hotel for the price we paid in weekdays in Aug 2023 !, wldnt believe the price given everything else around us has gone high. Thanks Dumbleton Hotel , we will visit again.

Nice and quiet property but we booked a superior room and it had cobwebs, carpet stains, stains in ceiling from rain, ratty curtains, no complimentary toiletries which it was supposed to have. Beds and pillows were rock hard, travelled with husband and son and although quiet it was hard to get comfortable, there were holes in walks and ripped wallpaper in common areas, place needs some care and attention and a serious facelift

Beautiful setting and surroundings. Very peaceful. Lovely charm & staff were great. Recommend.

I love staying at this type of hotel, but you have to accept them for what they are...... old buildings that would cost millions to make perfect.

The property was just right for our needs. Look forward to visiting again next year when it has been refurbished.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Loved all the sheep. Sadly we learned that they had lost the pair of black swans that we had interacted with 11 years ago.
