SureStay Hotel by Best Western Castlegar

Breakfast was very good. Lots food available and well replenished. Staff pleasant enough, but very busy unorganized and we were messed around a lot due to shift changes, staff forgetting their promises and kept waiting for room change. Room itself on ground floor finally was fine. Discovered all ground floor rooms were kitchenettes. No elevator on premises so wouldn’t work for folks with mobility issues on stairs

No comfortable chair to sit in which was disappointing but room was clean and affordable and bed was comfortable. Stayed two nights, but were not informed they wouldn’t make up room between times so had no clean towels given or bed made.

Breakfast was good. Location is also good. Clean rooms & the Staff was very nice.

A bit outdated and the wall looked like it hadn't been completely painted on one side of my room. It made me a bit worried that you couldn't lock the window but I am used to a bigger city where thise safety concerns are prevalent. For the price and location It was good

Clean room, friendly staff and walkable to dining option's.

Staff are very friendly! The location is walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores etc. The continental breakfast was fresh and hot. The room was very clean. The only negative was the carpet. I stayed there before and the bottom floor rooms didn’t have carpets so much nicer. The top floor needs some upgrades otherwise it’s a great place to stay.

Good rooms and comfortable beds.

They charged my credit card twice for the room and even with showing them the bank statement they are still questioning it. So now I have to send them an email for follow up and dispute the 2nd charge with my bank, so till that is resolved successfully I am very disappointed with the hotel.

It was clean, and what we needed for a night.

It was nothing special, but no issues.
