Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort

This hotel is outstanding , from check in to departure you are treated like royalty. The hotel grounds are breathtaking and the entire weekend was like a dream. Would highly recommend this hotel however realize it's Not for the budget wise..prices are outlandishly high for everything ..would have loved a free shuttle service from the ferry .

Beautiful, peaceful location, beautiful lawns, golf course and orchid house. Hotel has shuttle to the City and Manele Bay but to get around you must have a jeep.

Stunning appeal and service

The hotel has beautiful grounds and is quiet and relaxing. The shuttle takes about 20 min. to the sister resort on the beach. We enjoyed the executive putting course, the croquet, the pool, the hottub, and the hand shuffleboard. We had some things wrong in our room (defective DVD player, broken curtains) but the things were fixed and an adjustment was made to our bill which we appreciated.

From the airport welcome to a guided tour at check-in and the friendly, personable manner the staff were faultless. Nothing was too much trouble, happy to help wherever they could. It's always nice when staff address you by name without prompting. Quiet location with excellent gardens and grounds, the golf course looked pristine. The grounds staff could often be seen all over working hard to maintain the open spaces. Room was lovely and spacious with a great balcony, housekeeping did a great job and took care of a few requests quickly and efficiently. Will definitely return and shall be recommending it to friends and family.

Overall it was a very nice stay. Resort facility, ground, activity offering, dinning, etc. They were great! Only one downside was that the room wasn't as clean as I expected for 4 seasons. The carpet was really dirty side and had lots dirty spots. Bathroom was spacious and nice, but had lots mildew spots around tubs. And also dusty around hair dryer and mirror.

How pleasantly surprised with the Lodge. The room and staff was excellent. the experience was quiet, relaxing, and surrounded with beautiful grounds. Forget the beach when staying here.

I was completely satisfied with my stay at the Lodge at Koele. The people were wonderful. The hotel and Lanai itself were beautiful. I thought the food was excellent, although expensive, but the room was definitely not overpriced given what is provided.

I was skeptical about the price per night, but it was definitely worth it with the numerous amenities (e.g. complimentary croquet, game room, and coffee hour; fitness center; thermal pool). The lodge is a very serene venue, perfect for someone who works a strenuous career and wants to get away. The room was clean, despite its country look. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a resort. Housekeeping always greeted us in the hallways, including other guests. The concierge team was very personal, asking us questions to see if they could recommend any activities or to see if we needed directions to the island's attractions. They even followed up with us on our activities to see how we liked it upon checking out. I'm definitely saving to return for a longer stay!
