"Lots Of Problems Here!"

Lots of problems with my stay here! First off, I stayed for only one night, July 12th-July 13th. My wife was attending a baby shower, and afterwards, we were going to a show at the Borgata, in A.C. I wanted to get an early check in on Saturday, to rest up before I picked my wife up at the baby shower. I called the hotel to arrange for this on Wednesday, and the person I spoke to said that I had to call back on Saturday morning, which I did and was told that there was nothing available for an early check in, but they would call me back when something became available. Nobody ever did! We arrived at the hotel about 10:30pm and checked in. We went to the room and watched a little TV. The TV had the worst picture quality, it definitely needed to be replaced. A little after 11:00pm, the power to the room cut off for almost a half an hour! Couldn't even call the front desk, because the phone was also affected. The power came back on, thankfully and we went to sleep. We awoke the next morning (Sunday), and around 9:30am, the chambermaid knocked on the door wanting to make up the room. Checkout is 12 noon. We took showers and left about 10:30. There was no bath gel in the shower, it was empty! Nobody at the front desk asked how our stay was! This place was a total mistake. Also, in the bathroom, there was an exhaust fan that didn't work. The only positive item, was that my wife liked the tiling in the bathroom. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work.

"Worst night sleep ever"

Stayed in room 208. Worst night sleep ever. Ac didn’t work the room was so sticky and smelly it was awful this place sucks so not waste your money you would sleep better in your car. Terrible terrible room. Why would the hotel rent it if they KNEW it was broken

"Communication"

I asked for my room to be cleaned while I was asked, by the front desk. Then got an email via Lauren asking if they could do anything and again I reinstated just to please have my room cleaned. I was gone 7 hours and still came back to dirty room. Very disappointed. But I went down to front desk and they immediately rectified the situation. But seriously 3 different methods before getting it resolved.

"Good experience, can’t comment on much besides the details I left."

Good experience, nice comfortable beds. Adjacent restaurant had decent food. Couple of dings: ice machine not working on third floor and when asked for ice at the desk, was told to get one of the servers from the in-house breakfast to bring it out. Also, when you use the Hilton app for digital check-in, you have to option to pick your room. When we got the check in notice… I saw we were assigned different rooms. I called the property and they said they just assigned the next 2 rooms available despite saying we had a 9:00PM arrival time. Minor in the scheme of things but just be aware of it. It was just a quick overnight, we got in late and left early. Only stayed here because of listed problems at other properties in the area. Red Roof Inn probably would’ve been more appropriate for what we needed.

We were very disappointed! We had to wait an hour for shuttle service at airport while other hotel shuttles came by every 15 minutes. Then when we arrived the hotel had no luggage assistance, restaurant was closed. And they close up at 10pm nightly as well. The rooms were very small and outdated. Tub was maybe a foot deep and had been painted with paint chips peeling off. We also did not feel safe here with all the characters hanging out in the lobby. I’m not sure that I will pick any Embassy Suite in the future despite this one being our only bad experience at an Embassy Suites. I thought they had higher standards.
