Heber Inn

Kinda shabby but everything worked. Owner seems like a nice kid trying to bring a run down property back to life. Aims to please so if you need something ask at the desk.

Bad experience with the lady there to check in and the way she treated us for not knowing Spanish.

This is for sure a bare bones motel stay. HOWEVER, the room was incredibly clean, the staff was helpful, and the bed was one of the most comfortable in any hotel level I've slept on in a long time. Though it was older, there was clearly pride in maintaining it. There were about 5 ants in the bathroom. I think they could fix that easily.

The hotel was not as advertised online. The AC was so obnoxious. It was loud, it kept shutting off with a loud thunk, and never did cool down the room. It was just air circulating. The filter in it was filthy and held together with 2 clothes pins. There was food left in the fridge and the toilet was filthy. The only good part of the room, was the beds were fairly comfortable. We defininately would not recommend staying at the Heber Inn.

Location

Not clean. Carpet was terrible , leaking toilet, missing toilet paper holder, floor was sticky, electric outlets worked off and on, no trash can, front door was locked where the ice was, not enough towels, no washcloths. Metal trim on the floor between tile and carpet that was not nailed down. Lights were bare fixtures with pull cords.

Right on down town is perfect for a walk to Melvin’s or right there for something quick to Panda Express. Parking is a little tight but just right especially with the laundry mat right there. If your working from out of town like I am it’s pretty ideal

No water pressure in sink. Shower was only Hot Hot water. Lights didn’t work

I was looking forward to staying here after a long drive. The front staff was amazing but the hotel conditions were not great. It did not feel clean. There were no trash cans in the room, the only one available was the bathroom trash. The toilet seat was broken; anytime I used the toilet it felt like I was going to fall from it wiggling. The water was freezing cold. We had to keep the water running for 30 minutes (which I hated doing this) for the water to heat up just enough for my kids to be able to shower. Then once it started getting hot, the water would just be too hot and even if we tried making it cold, the temperature wouldn’t change. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nothing wrong with staff, but the room was super gross. There were hardened globs of something on the tiled floor, there was a giant cobweb on the curtains, the towles smelled musty and the sheets on the bed were super wrinkled and had some stains (or were unwashed). I had a sleepingbag in my car and ended up putting that on the bed and sleeping on it instead. The minifridge looked like it had never been cleaned, and there was caked dust and something oily on the tops of the hair dryer and hand-towel rack. Just overall super gross and not well maintained.
