Hyatt Place Portland Airport/Cascade Station

Very nice close to the airport

I asked the person at the reception desk to make me a latte. He kept rubbing his hands on the rim of the cup. I asked him not to because I don’t use a lid and I actually drink off the rim of the cup. He got incredibly agitated, crushed the cop through it and told me he never wanted to talk to me again. His hands are touching things from other customers. It’s not a very hygienic way to serve people. And then reacting I’m not going to talk to you again is a little much for asking him to give me a cup that he didn’t touch the rim.

I caught the 5 am hotel shuttle to the airport. The hotel desk clerk said that at this time, there would be a small package breakast like a muffin and fruit, but it was not offered to me.

No transparency: unexpected charge for parking, no information about when breakfast ended. Refrigerator but no microwave, only 1 regular coffee--2 decafs, not enough drink containers

The room seeemed incomplete: a refrigerator but no microwave, only one coffee that wasn’t decaf, not enough cups/glasses. Also the Hyatt was not very transparent. I did not know they charged nine dollars for parking at night, I went to breakfast at 9:20 and was not told that breakfast closed at 9:30. Otherwise the room was large and clean.

We had very nice stay at this hotel. Staff were very quick in providing the service. The location of the hotel is very good. Love to visit the hotel again.💕
