Homewood Suites by Hilton Birmingham-SW-Riverchase-Galleria

I recently enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and felt compelled to share my experience. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The amenities provided were excellent and greatly enhanced the overall experience. Moreover, the staff members were consistently friendly, helpful, and demonstrated exceptional service throughout my visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly memorable and pleasant stay.

The key cards did not work most of the time and no hot water in the shower.

This hotel is very nice and was convenient for travel.

The room and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast included southwest omelets, sauage, potatoes, grits, cereals, fresh fruit, and assorted breads. Staff was friendly

Quiet and calm property. Easy to get to everything we needed to access during our stay.

Hotel is under construction HOWEVER the room was very clean and updated. hallways need a good broom but again, hotel is under construction. I will definitely stay again. the room - where it counts - was great.

Size of the room. Enjoyed the suite. Was able to fix lunch a few days and dinner two nights. The staff was very good. Breakfast was good

The room and common area were clean and well maintained.

We are a family of 5 and booked a room through Expedia for a sports tournament. Expedia listed a king suite for 5 (we thought they would bring in a cot) but when we got to the hotel, they could not accommodate because they do not have cots. Even though it was an error on Expedia’s part, the hotel staff went above and beyond to work out a solution for our family for the same price. They were patient and kind. Specifically Teresa helped us when we first got there. Eventually Tanika, Amanda and Lillian stepped in to help as well. The manager, Lillian Brooks, provided a level of customer service that you rarely see these days. She stayed late to make sure we were taken care of and even followed up by phone a couple days after our stay to make sure I understood the room charges. As far as the facilities go, there was roof construction going on so unfortunately we were not able to enjoy to outdoor facilities but they would have been really neat: outdoor pool, basketball court and putting green also with a sitting area. Would have been great for our family! The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was much better than your average hotel breakfast! The first day we had delicious breakfast tacos with delicious toppings! I highly recommend staying here - not only for the accommodations but also for the staff that clearly cares for their customers!

Hotel location was good.

Roof being replaced and they put us on the top floor...noisy as heck. Pool was closed, not good. I chose this hotel specifically for the pool and arrived early so my 6 grandkids could swim. Construction, plastic sheeting down the hallways and one of the two elevators was closed - serving probably 100-120 rooms on floors 2-6. Construction workers had the automatically locking exits blocked open with rocks in the doors. No notifications on the hotel website or I would not have reserved. It was too late to get another 2 bedroom suite anywhere else locally. Hilton Honors shouldn't ever treat their guests like this! 1/3 of the parking spaces were blocked off. People had to park all over the property in non designated places. If there had been a fire, no fire engines would have been able to get near the building.
