"Loved the Captain’s House"

We had an amazing stay at the Captain’s House Inn. The property is beautiful and well located. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were so professional and friendly and really were the best part of the Inn. Shoutout to Anoushka, always smiling and making us feel welcome. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been better sheets ( Egyptian cotton) and the bathroom could use some updating. We hope to return one day.

Nichts, weil die Inhaberin zum vereinbarten Check-In-Zeitpunkt (18:00-19:00) nicht da war und nach eigener Angabe nicht zurückkehren konnte. Sie hat uns nicht einchecken können und mir daher empfohlen, die Buchung zu stornieren, was ich getan habe.

Ich warte bis heute - aus nicht nachvollziehbaren Gründen (!) - auf die Freigabe der von ihr veranlassten Stornierung durch die Inhaberin und Rückerstattung der geleisteten Hotelrate durch Booking.Com bzw. die Inhaberin des Hotels. Die Inhaberin hat mir den Stornobeleg persönlich am 9. Juli, als ich nochmal vor Ort war, übergeben und bestätigt, die Hotelrate zurückerstattet zu haben und sie würde die komplette Stornierung an Booking.com. Dies alles habe ich Booking.Com am 13. Juli mitgeteilt und warte immer noch auf Erledigung des Vorgangs, insbesondere vollständige Rückerstattung, da das Hotel keine Leistung erbracht hat.
