Captain's House Inn

Excellent stay, great service, upscale place, and weather was awesome. Property is beautiful and well m aintained. Very conveniently located to major Cape Cod sites. Breakfast options were great. Rooms are more meant for couples, not sure how kid friednly it is, but great getaway for couples, young and old...Ms. Claude was especially great...Highly recommended...

The location.

It was tired and very ordinary, rooms were very loud/it was hard to sleep if people were still talking in nearby rooms.

Location, Property Gardens, personnel, History of facility. Nice Breakfast. Very nice Library. Gazebo with netting for mosquitoes, Inside Heater and Fan. I bet 90% of Vacationers never sit inside it. Tiled Bathroom, House has actual Older 4 inch Oak floors. You have access to Port or Sherry 24 hours a day. Walking distance to City Center and Fish Pier. You can watch Fishermen unloading their haul there. Good time frame would be 10-12, if not low tide. Seals swimming about there as well. Great for kids. Tip*, Parking lot is filled many times. Just before entering Upper Parking lot, there is an area where 4 SUV’s can park on North side of intersection.

At the end of a day, sometimes nice to watch a show, or 30 minutes Television. Television was non functional throughout. The young guy who serves breakfast stopped over. I knew it was the Wifi. Always cut out, couldn’t change movie or channel. I dont go on vacation to watch the TV. Maybe other rooms were ok.

The property is very nice. Buildings are old and charming with all that comes with that.

A beautiful property and grounds in a lovely neighbourhood. Fantastic breakfast and snacks in the room. Reasonably convenient for walking into town (and a very quick drive if you want to save your legs).
