Sky Ranch Lodge

The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful (a certified botanic garden), until the daily wedding starts. It's a wedding venue but they don't mention that when you make your reservation or check in. If you pay $400/night for a room on the rim side of the property, you'll be getting a front row seat to a loud wedding reception and a lot of drunk people milling about with no concern for the guests of the hotel. And the "customer service" of the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. The "restaurant" listed in the amenities is actually an airstream camper with snacks, too. It's a cool place but really, for the price point, it's not fair to the paying guests to host loud weddings. It's not a big enough property for both uses. We were there during the week, too, so weddings every night were a surprise. The rooms need a little upgrading (bathrooms, specifically), there's no complimentary breakfast even though there IS an unused kitchen facility and outdoor dining space attached to the office (even pastries would've been thoughtful), but the pool was nice and we loved the location and gardens. We enjoyed our time there, but we want peace and quiet on our vacations and some better customer service. Once was enough.

SkyRanch is in a great location with lovely views, though we did not have a view from our actual room. The rooms are nice and clean, but with weird, soft beds. I like soft beds, but this was too soft and kind of lumpy. The pool and hottub were lovely. Wish they had a view. The gardens are nice and there are cute bunnies. The free shuttle to get down to local restaurants or businesses is a great perk of staying here. Very helpful. There is no restaurant, but there is a food truck which is also a bar. You can order breakfast from there, and it was pretty good. The restaurant next door is all booked up even on a Monday, so make reservations before you arrive. The list of restaurants the hotel gives you is a bit hopeless, it lists all the fancy places which were all completely booked, some for the next month! Not very useful for a hotel visitor. Overall, a nice hotel and a good experience, but fairly expensive.

The property was beautiful with gardens and paths through the buildings. Had a smaller boutique vibe. The property has THE BEST view for sunsets in Sedona. Also great staff and a little airstream mobile kitchen with great food for a quick lunch or breakfast, or a drink for happy hour.

Nothing! Everyone was great!

The location was very quiet! Very secluded and away from all the noise and busyness of Sedona. It's a little high priced, but we would definitely stay there again. There was also a restaurant within walking distance. We did not get a chance to go there but it looked like a very nice place!
