If you want a hotel with great views, ranch style and front door hikes, this is your place in Sedona. We stayed here for 3 nights on our visit based on a friend's recommendation. The hotel is on top of airport mesa with amazing views of Sedona below. In fact, people staying other places will drive to visit the view you get, and the trail to the Airport Vortex begins at the property line of the hotel. While we did have to drive to most of our meals, we walked to our last dinner at the Airport Grill for a great sunset. That is the sky. The ranch is the way the hotel is designed as single room, single floor units connected together and spread around the mesa rim. We had a great room near the lobby. In the middle of the units is a pool which we did use one afternoon as it was so unseasonably hot during our stay. In all, it was a great property with incredible location and views. It may not have been the cheapest but for the amenities, I think it has great value.

It let me book a room. We drove there/stayed busy for the afternoon until check in. I suddenly got a message that they were full/my reservation was no longer honored. It put us in a bad situation of trying to find a decent hotel on very short notice

The best location to watch the sunset - it is on Mesa Airport. The facility has a beautiful dessert garden and very close to the Mesa Airport loop. Will stay again.

The only on site eatery is the food truck. But one can walk to across the road to Mesa Grille for food
