Hampton Inn & Suites Port Richey

Very friendly staff and helpful. Wanted to especially thank Joyce in the dining area for her service. She made us feel at home. With the renovation going on above us, we did not notice or hear any thing.

The breakfast was excellent

The reservation system had my last name spelled wrong, so I was unable to connect to the hotel WiFi. When I tried to use the room phone to let the front desk know, the phone was disconnected or out of service. I went down to the front desk and got the WiFi corrected. Later, I tried to take a shower and the water would not switch from the tub faucet to the shower head. Since the room phone still did not work, I went back to the front desk. There were no rooms available to move us to (plus my wife had already gone to bed), but a front desk manager offered us access to a room 2 floors away from us for taking showers (this room had had the carpets cleaned and were still drying). We did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

Good location for our needs.

This hotel is in need of a remodel, the AC in my room was leaking and the carpet was soaked so i had to move to the other bed so my feet wouldn't get wet.

Great place, front desk was easy check in and super friendly

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and well equipped. 24 hour coffee and tea area was well stocked with a variety of coffee creamers and teas and much appreciated. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn when we come to this area, which is often because my grandmother lives here. We stayed at this location in February and they were renovating it so I was reluctant to book this time because the renovation was a bit inconvenient, but I went ahead and did it because it was a lower price than the Holiday Inn. I’m so glad I did. It is beautiful. The renovations are excellent. Everything is brand new. It is immaculately clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and coffee bar was beyond any other one I’ve had in a long time as far as choices and cleanliness. I will be staying at this hotel from now on when I come to this area. Every single person was courteous and helpful. I was even pleased that there was a constant police presence in the parking lot, especially at night. Every single thing about the hotel was excellent.

I booked a room for 5 people and was told the total was 550 for the room for the 4 nights stay including breakfast and hotel facilities. When i checked out i checked my bank account and was charge extra for having up 5 people stay in the room and had payed 810 dollars. When i asked about why i was overcharged they kept giving me a work around and excuse after excuse. They also were doing construction on the 3rd floor so we would always smell the paint fumes. Wasnt all bad but still watch for the over charges!

Furniture was a bit outdated
