We enjoyed delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, from the brick oven pizza to the incredible omelet station at Cibolo Moon. No matter the time or how busy the hotel was, we never waited longer than 15 minutes for a table and every single staff member we interacted with was personable, professional, and seemed genuinely happy we were there. Our room was comfortable and incredibly clean. Whether we spent time relaxing in the room or out on the beautiful grounds, we were never disappointed. In fact, what luck - we visited during their Backyard BBQ, when several inflatable toys spread out on the lawn for the kids, great live music artists played toe-tappers that got everyone singing along, and served delicious BBQ as yet another dining option at a hotel swimming in them. Speaking of swimming, those cabanas are worth the price and emotional spiraling. We took our time getting out to the pool on Saturday and learned our lesson, miraculously finding a single pool chair for our family of 4’s things. Not that we spent any real time at the chair… the lazy river held our attention for several hours, with a little help from the delicious Pina coladas served river-side. Funnily enough, we live 15 minutes away from the hotel and came for a little family staycation, but this was the best experience we’ve had in a plethora of travels. We’ll keep an eye out for the calendar and be back for some incredible lemon scones & fun! Thank you, JW Marriot Hill Country and staff!!

it's a great place, to relax and enjoy the view from the balcony. Very comfortable place. the food was good, good option for diner! I don't like was, the Hotel was not responsibility, the item I forgot , which I leaf the Hotel 10.30 am and I get home 2.30 pm , I called to said I forgot an blue shirt ( Blue shirt was there) and one hour later , I called back again and I said I forgot an Polo White shirt , and told me is nothing there ,(only was there the blue shirt short sleeve) I know 100 % I leaf there in the Closet . and for me was weird because the room was clean yet I understand is my responsibility, is my foul, for not make sure, I have all my Items . But overall was a great place , me and my son we got an wonderful time,, for sure we come back again. Thank you

For the price, we expected a luxurious experience and our stay really missed the mark. It was so terribly loud everywhere in the hotel. Kids running up and down halls constantly. We couldn’t find a vending machine that worked. There was only one sit down breakfast restaurant so the wait in the morning wasn’t worth it. I think this hotel is a good option for families but wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have kids or want a restful weekend.

We went on a very busy day. However, there was absolutely no parking. We were forced to use valet. Upon arrival we checked our bags so we could use the pool. When we got our room, the bellhop brought up our bags and we immediately noticed that a cell phone was missing from our bags. We called security, we filed a report online for their suggestion, we also called the bell service, and spoke with the front desk. Since I felt like there was nothing further I could do from my room I went down myself. We just arrived and I was trekking all over the hotel. I finally went downstairs and talked to the valet, just in case the phone fell out in the car, and as I was talking to the bell service, one of the bellhops that brought us the luggage remembered that he heard something fall in the closet. He said it sounded like a cell phone! So he and another gentleman went to go look in the closet for the cell phone. They came back and said they couldn’t find it. I went to the front desk to discuss it with them and they had the phone there. The place was incredibly expensive, that’s to be expected. However, paying $11 for a tiny dipping dots cup. That was also eight dollars from a vending machine inside seemed astronomical. Furthermore, we felt the lazy river could be much cleaner. At the end of the evening, I was surprised that they weren’t using nets to collect the incredible amount of leaves and debris that were floating in the lazy river both Friday and Saturday when we used it.

"Amazing Experience-The JW team are Great."

We had another amazing experience during our fifth visit to the JW Marriott Hill Country. Each time has been wonderful. The lazy river and the overall pool experience are both fun and relaxing. I want to give a shout-out to the servers at Cibolo Moon. Evan is fantastic—my daughter remembers him from our last trip and specifically mentioned that he was a great server. Sure enough, on this visit, he was our server again. Ms. Rosa is also amazing and incredibly kind. We enjoyed dinner at 18 Oaks, where Oscar, our server, was excellent as well. Overall, the team at the JW Marriott Hill Country is outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!

"Not worth the money"

Our family has stayed with JW Marriott around the world and have always had a wonderful experience. I hate for the chain as a whole to receive such a bad review due to the staff and manager of this location. First off, the hotel is completely overbooked. Breakfast wait times will run you 30 minutes at least. Secondly, the rooms are dirty. We had mold around the corners of our shower! Dogs are welcome and we ended up losing a night of sleep due to barking. We did complain, and it did eventually stop. We had booked a 3 night stay and ended up leaving the evening of night 2 due to a family emergency. We let the hotel know and for our efforts received threats of early departure fees and a loss of our resort credit due to not staying the full 3 days. I’m confused, if you charge me for 3 days, what difference does it make to them? Shameful behavior and overall dirty and dingy location. Not on par with the JW Marriott brand, so be aware if that is what you are expecting.

"Recommend for Families "

The food is pricy but worth it. The pizza is a must to get. Bring your own pillow. Be prepared for noise and kids everywhere. Very family friendly hotel but still some good areas for adults to mingle. The water slides/pool areas are very nice and clean. All of the staff is super friendly. Go early if you don’t want to fight over a tube for rides.
