The hotel was closed to all guests the night before we were to arrive because of a water main break. They found us a new reservation at Holiday Inn Express in Boone, NC

Only issue we had was the air conditioner is at the.head of the bed and blows directly on you which is extremely uncomfortable for the person sleeping in the bed next to the air conditioner.

The hotel did not honor the reservation as there was a water issue on the site. I am contacting my credit card company to contest the charges as Expedia does not make it easy to get a refund.

Was about to leave my house, chk in is at 3:00. Got a cancellation call bcse of a water issue. Needed to make a last minute reservation at La Quinta. Best thing that happened to us, La Quinta was less expensive, closer to the venue and had a no hassle chk in all with a direct interaction with the hotel. No middle man needed, Ill be doing that from now on.
