Holiday Inn Express Blowing Rock South, an IHG Hotel

I liked the clean simple decor the breakfast was good and staff excellent.

Lovely quiet area

Overall, our stay at this hotel was enjoyable, earning its solid 4 out of 5 rating. The bed was excellent—comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful night. However, cleanliness could be improved, as the entryway and bathroom tiles felt slightly sticky, and when we wiped up a spill, the rag picked up noticeable dirt. The breakfast, often praised in reviews, was certainly above average compared to typical hotel offerings, but we found the selection of healthy options to be quite limited. Sound insulation is one area for improvement, which is common across many U.S. hotels. Noise from the hallway was easily heard inside the room, and vice versa, occasionally disrupting the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel delivers a quality experience and is well worth considering for a stay.

Very pet friendly!

Staff was fine. Outside the front entry has a dirty look. Needs pressure washing to include trash dispensers. Breakfast was good and room seemed clean. I would rate it at 4 stars.

Very convenient location, comfortable beds, clean rooms, motorcycle parking available. Hot breakfast.

The room was nice and clean. The hotel breakfast was good. Hotel is in a great location for where we needed to be.

The counter space in the bathroom was pretty limited for 3 people.
