Holiday Inn Express Blowing Rock South, an IHG Hotel

Very friendly

For the price, the hotel was modern, clean, room was spacious and looked up to date, good water pressure, hot breakfast offered was a plus, gym was small but had good equipment and weights. I was able to walk to the downtown area and other attractions from the hotel.

It is great that 24 hour coffee is offered but the quality of coffee could be improved as well as providing oat milk instead of creamers.

Location. Distance to restaurants and App Ski Mountain good.

Room setup. AC unit right beside bed and made sleeping uncomfortable.

Great stay nice and cozy

The property is in a great location and has huge potential but the overall cleanliness is a problem. It took three attempts to get a room that was reasonably clean, still with hair everywhere but okay. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good but the price does not necessarily reflect the condition of the rooms.

Room keeps smelling pot.

Sheets were clean, ice and water station, and coffee and tea station . Staff was friendly and super accommodating.

Bathroom ceiling was like rusted and looked like it had been repaired poorly, electricity outlets next to bed were not functional, and hallway by room 110 constantly smelled like marijuana , and road in parking lot was broken down full of holes and was uncomfortable every time we came and went.
