Holiday Inn Express Blowing Rock South, an IHG Hotel

It was clean and quiet. The staff was amazing.

The facility is kept in good condition, very clean, very good location

Everything was pretty good except breakfast. Staff was irritated with all the questions and the food was poor quality. Check in was fast and the front desk staff was friendly. Room was clean.

The room was a little musty. The toilet rocked back and forth. My wife almost threw up from the strong smell of Marijuana in the hall upon arrival and when leaving the room. Prices keep going up. The pavement for exit is pretty bad. Other than that the staff was nice but we waited 30 minutes for checking in because no one was at the front desk.

We had a great stay! The room was spotless and it smelled very nice. The towels were crisp white as well as the beds! They have a very nice complementary breakfast with your stay which we enjoyed.

The hotel in general is good, it's not luxurious, the location is very good, the breakfast was horrible. All the staff were always very attentive and ready to help, in that aspect everything was very good. My only problem was with the cleanliness, the bathroom is very small for someone traveling with a family, I noticed during the shower that the water didn't flow through the pipe and the bathtub was full, dirt came out of the drain and it was disgusting. The truth is that the drain was blocked and had a lot of dirt from other guests, hair and other things. I asked for help at the front desk, but since it was late at night I only cleaned it the next day, the truth is that I cleaned it myself.

Toilet bowl water was keep running. Phone didn't work.

This stay for 3 nights was very comfortable! The front desk did not have cash so I could get smaller bills to tip the breakfast crew and housekeepers.
