"Yearly Trip"

It was my yearly trip to DC for business, and I keep on coming back to the Residence Inn by Marriott. The check in was quick, the room was clean, and the location was superb! The parking is always an issue, but I'll gladly pay $35 for easy of access.

"Overall a decent value and great neighborhood, quiet, safe area but with a close walk to stuff."

Typical 2.5* breakfast, nothing special. Elevator problems but they were proactive about it with proper notices and explanations and there was not much they could do, can't ding them too much cuz stuff happens The main thing that bothered me was when I first entered the room it smelled strongly like industrial grade air freshener, over time that smell faded into the smell of a smoking room. Just kind of gave me a critical view after that.

needs a refresh and get rid of the smoke smell without covering it with something.
