Naeba Prince Hotel

Good size room with amazing view. The room does not have fancy modern deco but it’s clean and spacious which is good enough for sleeping. The hotel is huge, some areas need a bit of renovation to lift up its looks. The hot spring is amazing, definitely a big plus.

Smelly bathroom and room smelled once stepped in. A very basic hostel style, there are much better-valued hotel out there.

Excellent ski in ski out resort. Great for families. Safe and convenient. Food was expensive however a cheaper food court is accessible even though it is inconveniently located. The kids loved it and made the most of the night skiing until 8.30 pm. The hotel is dated but still clean and very functional from a rental and locker perspective. Definitely recommend this place.

Had a great time with my wife and 3 year old daughter, two nights over Christmas. Having everything on site makes things super-easy - you get a designated locker to store your gear downstairs so you don't have to drag it to your room. Room was not the newest but it was clean and comfortable and had enough space for us, two twin beds and an easy pull out sofa bed. The resort is large but manageable, just check which building you're booked in before you go because there are different check-in desks. The staff we dealt with were mostly very helpful and had either had a good level of English or made their best effort. Board, gear, and sled rental was smooth and easy. Book your free hotel bus back to Yuzawa station ahead of time because it does fill up. We needed to get back in a hurry so took a taxi, cost 8000 yen, so not a total ring-stinger but still, if you can get the free bus then that's better. I'd go back.

It was a lovely place to stay... the only thing was there was not really a place fore first time skiers or for adults to use the sleds. Also one of the instructors when I was on the slop was quite rude yelling at me to move when I crashed at the top...

Enjoyed getting upgrade to bigger room set up for a family with children.Had fun with blackboards and crayons. Dragondola to see autumn colours amazing. Rooms clean but rest of facilities in state of disrepair and in need of a good clean and coat of paint. Particularly on the way to the baths where people have to walk all the time - corridor walls grubby and dusty and signage poor. Have to walk through food court area and many people were confused about where to go. We enjoyed our stay but complex needs some general maintenance.

Hotel very old, but with comprehensive facilities, if you want to ski that is very good place for you. You can rent all tools from the hotel, you can also have different kinds of food in the hotel. Hotel also have firework show in the special day. Therefore it is guite special that you can watch the firework in snow.

Heater cant manage the temperature then i got sick

Huge hotel. A bit dated but still nice for a 3star providing ski in and out. Plenty of food (especially pizza) with a food court for cheaper food options and ski related goods on sale. The free shuttle service to Echigoyuzawa station was efficient. Lots of different slopes and a very busy resort with a lot of Asian tourists. The high standards of a Prince resort is maintained.
