Sawasdee Siam, Pattaya

Staff very rude, food even worse, Pool area filthy. We checked out two days early with no refund given. Would recommend that no one ever books into this terrible hotel or any of the Sawasdee hotel group. We have stayed in Thailand many times and never experienced anything like the Sawasdee Siam. A total nightmare of a place.

Good aircon and relatively comfy beds. The staff's helpful (if you treat them with respect) and will try to help you with your recuests. Pool's fine but can be a bit crowded. The good thing is that the ocean's only 10min walk from the hotel. Sadly a lot of prostituts in this naighborhood so wouldn't recommend for families traveling with children, but then again I wouldn't recommend Pattaya for parents traveling with children... Overall a good hotel to stay in.

the hotel look not so nice, but the staff very friendly and helpfull. it not too near with the beach and shoping mall. This area a lot of bar so a little noisy.

A budget hotel close to well priced restaurants and only a short bus ride from the beaches and the nightlife of Pattaya. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed a dip in the pool. The massage place downstairs have a great foot massage.

Staff was not very customer oriented. They try to extract max money from you. For ex. ask to pay for breakfast eventhough it is included in the rate, charge exorbitant rate for using lobby phone to call outside (outside calls can't be make from room), etc.

Having arrived at the hotel I had to pay 1000 baht for the key was tired so paid it the room was basic and better than i expected as i didnt pay a lot for it. There are no balconies which wasnt a problem tv in the room and air con shower no shower curtain but seemed to drain away well, the maid came in everyday to change the sheets and clean. The hotel is on the main street in soi bakau and right opposite is a music bar which goes on till 3am so sometimes can be a bit annoying if you want sleep but all in all a budget hotel and you get what you pay for.

Good service, very friendly staff, hotel condition not at a level I expected, hotel was a little to far from centre of town.

Apart from certain ignorant members of staff my stay at this hotel was good and enjoyable.
