Staff was exceptional. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee and Tea all day. Appreciated after a long hike. Even in December.

The room did not have Kleenex or soap. The pull out bed collapsed at the head and my companion was unable to fix it in the middle of the night..

We spent a week in New England and this was by far the best accommodation. There was a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and coffee all day long. The breakfast was restaurant quality, delicious and healthy - freshly cooked eggs, plain Greek yogurt with berries, overnight oats, fresh pastries, etc. Our king room was fantastic with comfortable mattresses and even a fake fireplace with remote control. Despite the cold weather we still enjoyed the lake and beachfront, our toddler loved throwing rocks in the water. The natural setting was absolutely beautiful. Hoping to come back one day and this time will stay longer. You need a whole day to just relax and soak it all in!

Breakfast was wonderful -- the view of the lake was the icing on the cake, but we enjoyed overnight oats, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, and a freshly made omelette with bacon and gluten free toast. We were so appreciative that they were able to provide gluten free options. We also enjoyed the coffee and tea bar in another beautifully furnished room, available 24/7. The property was just beautiful. Nicely landscaped, and the views of the lake and mountains were glorious. We weren't there long enough to enjoy all the activities they supported, but the equipment for canoeing/kayaking and paddlesports looked pretty decent. Finally, our room was and ensuite bathroom were pretty small (likely due to the age of the property), but very clean with some modern updates, quality furniture and linens, AND had a great view of the lake. I appreciated the in-room water provided in a refillable glass bottle for the sustainability factor.

The temperature in the room was turned up pretty high for our taste. It was 50 degrees outside at night, but we kept the windows cracked because the heat was on and way too hot to sleep comfortably. There also should be a fan in the bathroom. Note that if you arrive during dinner hours be prepared for a full parking lot, which could be challenging with luggage as it's up a hill and gravel.
