Gloria Palace Royal Hotel & Spa

Utsikten var fantastisk, poolen var fin och bra, nära havet. Maten var bra. Bra och ordentlig städning.

Rummet var inte det jag hade sett på bilden. Dessutom fanns det en dörr mellan två rum så att man hörde väldigt tydligt.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gefallen, das Zimmer war sauber, das Personal unglaublich freundlich und das Buffet reichhaltig und lecker. Der Blick vom Pool ist mega. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir fanden es unmöglich, dass Urlauber es einfach nicht respektieren können, dass der Pool erst 10 Uhr öffnet, mit Handtüchern ihren Platz Stunden vorher sichern müssen und auch zum Abendessen trotz Hinweis auf die Garderobe dort in Badeschlappen und Turnhemd erscheinen. Purer Egoismus lässt grüßen...ist

Sun beds placed far too closely together. Gym was very poor and machines out dated and not very sturdy. Don’t think our bed linen was changed during our stay.

The view from this hotel is truly stunning. The rooms are big and well equipped. The food is excellent! They have a gym which is actually usable. It's not common, so it's definitely a plus.

It seems like the hotel is a bit understaffed. Before entering their restaurant there is a sign to wait to be seated, but then no one is coming. First time I felt like an idiot, then other guests just advised to proceed taking a seat. For this same reason tables are often being taken away by other guests when you go getting your food. It's not very well managed. On the same note, food was excellent, but the drink variety was poor or not well advertised. I've been to a few all-inclusive hotels in GC and somehow I always knew what selection I can get. Here, not so much. Cleaning, was okay, but found clusters of long hair around a few times. Me being a bald dude, they were definitely not mine. :D Elevators.. often times not working. Which was more a pain in the arse for the elderly that wanted to go to the restaurant or to the pool (separate floors). Tap water is not drinkable at the hotel as they put a note on the wall in your room, so you gotta visit the shop nearby to stack up with some extra water. Also one of the annoyances for me, they installed nice smart TV's but failed to hook them up with their own internet connection, so the "smart" features are actually unusable. But whyy?? Unless you share your own internet with the TV and use it that way, but should I really do all these backflips to use the TV properly while I'm on vacation? Don't think so.
