If you care about your hard earned money, then please do yourself a favor and RUN as fast as you can from this place, kind of like “Forest Gump” and his box of chocolates but run FASTER. This place is an absolute DISASTER of a hotel, it’s trash, the property and rooms are in complete disarray and FILTHY. There is 0 management, there is no one to hold liable and they could care less about their guests or condition of their property. It is seriously a tourist trap, once they have your money, you are locked in and you can’t leave, kind of like a jail cell but with a view. I am seriously considering creating a website just to document the atrocious trip we had here for 6 days with all the videos and photos. If you are reading this, please do yourself a favor and read until the end, this review may save your life or of a loved one, on the flip side…..If you have enemies then send them here!!!!
1. we got here a little early (not the hotels fault), although you would think a 4 star hotel / resort would allow you to check in early if available or at least offer you a bottle of water or even offer to eat at the breakfast buffet, but no, they literally had us wait by the pool and then well check in time came and went and they forgot about us. As a test since I was bored out of my mind waiting at the pool, I went online to see if the room we had was available and called the hotel as a potential new guest asking if I were to come in and pay for a room could I check in right away and they answered yes, I was in awe. This is were the nightmare started so breakout your popcorn folks! Oh and they have NO luggage storage so they leave your sh*t outside by the street!!!
2. So they told us they were sorry for forgetting us and “gave us an upgrade”… so we get to the room finally and it’s an absolute DISASTER. The room smells like a rat died in the walls and has been left to decompose. The furniture was so dated and used it looked like it was pulled out from someone’s trash, the door outside was broken and could not lock nor close so mosquitos were coming in non stop if you enjoy getting bit by mosquitoes in your room non stop for 6 days this is the place for you. We had NO HOT WATER….toilet barely flushes, need to flush 2/3 times for a mid size load. The bed was squeaking so loud, it was begging US TO LET IT DIE IN PEACE. So if you come with someone else and you need to use the toilet at night, there’s only one light switch that handles all the lights in the room, all the other light switches do not work, so you either pee in the dark and try to aim properly or you wake up your partner by turning every single light on in the room!!. All the electrical outlets are broken, none of them will hold a plug in so you need to put something behind so the plug stays in. The next night they were at least nice enough to let us know there would be no water at all for several hours at the property!!!

So they offer you a shuttle service to get into town, we get into the city with a few other guests and were told to be at the meeting spot at exactly 4:30pm and that the driver would be there exactly at that time and to not be late as he would not wait. We get there at 4:15pm, 4:30pm comes and goes and no driver in sight. Now 5pm and we are scrambling to call the hotel to find out where the driver is, hotel says he is on the way but the driver never shows, we waited over an hour for this driver to finally show up and he tells us, sorry the hotel forgot about setting up the pickup for the guests that were dropped off in town earlier, I could not believe it. We were so pissed.

5. The pool, grounds and overall outdoor condition of the property is HORRENDOUS. Nothing has been updated in years, the pool is UNUSABLE, I repeat it is UNUSABLE. Unless you want to catch an infection, the pool is an STD farm, in 6 days we stayed there we did not go near it in fear of catching AID* and not one guest in the property used it either. The water is green filthy with trash and nastiness, just for fun, we took a video every day at around noon and compared it to the day before to see if they even bothered cleaning it and they didn’t. Imagine spending over 1k USD for a week at a pool and beach resort and you can’t even swim in the pool? The outdoor bridges are poorly maintained and super dangerous going over the pools, there is NO RAILING for kids, elderly, drunk or high people, the lighting on it at night is so bright that it blinds you and are guaranteed to fall on that last step. Oh and there’s like 4 pool chairs for the whole property, it’s like hunger games up in here to try to lay by the pool, may the odds be in your favor!!!
6. The beach is just a bed of rocks, if they only cared they could excavate it to make it usable to swim, again no one in the ocean / beach due to this. Oh and the only bar open is by the beach, none of the pool bars are open EVER.
7. Now let’s talk about the buffet, it was absolutely GROSS.I truly believe they use the same food left overs from the day before to fill up the buffet. It’s the same exact menu every morning, if you like eggs then congrats because this is the ONLY item in the buffet that was fresh and could not give you food poisoning. Very small selection of food and all low grad. There is not enough seating at the buffet so you may need to stand and eat when it’s busy.
8. Activities? What activities, they only offer yoga once per week at this resort LOL, 4 star hotel??????
9. The property is very inconvenient there are no elevators, stairs everywhere so if you are handicapped or can’t go up and down stairs this place is NOT for you.

If you are so unlucky to order something from the restaurants onsite, this place is so shady that you cannot put the payment to your room, you must finish your meal and go to the lobby to pay for your bill, it’s absolutely ridiculous. 4 star hotel?????? Where is the convenience factor when you pay for a 4 star hotel, they don’t know what that is.
11. The gym is a safety hazard, the machines are older than my grandmother bubby may she rest is peace, these machines also deserve a proper burial, the one machine that is there is falling apart and was attempted to be repaired multiple times but I think the tech gave up and quit. The phone in the gym does not work, there are no towels or water, it’s basically a storage room with some old non functioning equipment. They have a steam room but that is just a decoration peace, it does nothing and doesn’t even have power to it, probably a good hiding place if you get into a fight with your wife due to talking to a lady boy not knowing it was one in the first place.
12. All the doors in the property are so old and swollen that every time someone closes a door they need to slam it so it wakes up the whole floor.
13. The internet is intermittent so had to use our hot spot, I mean what else do you expect from a 4 star hotel?
14. There is no security guards and people come and go as they please. I believe there is not enough staff In general and that is why the place is in such bad shape and dirty
