Harder to get taxis, unless paying for premium service, because the location is so remote

If you can fit this resort in your budget you will not be disappointed. We felt like the envy of the group for a tour pickup!

Everything! It is literally heaven, the staff treat you like you are royalty and you’re eating Michelin rated food in the restaurant. If six star luxury was an option this place would be it.

Amazing view, peaceful atmosphere, and wonderful staff. Truly relaxing experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I would love to come back again!

So, where to begin. The location of the resort is spectacular, on a cliff overlooking the sea. Incredible views, real seclusion and the gentle noise of the waves crashing on the rocks. You are ten minutes from Kamala beach though it’s technically only 2.5 kilometers. The roads are steep and you must travel slow. Conversely if you had occasion to want to go to patong, it’s easily 25 minutes because of steep roads and regular patong traffic. The food was fantastic. We mostly took advantage of the complimentary breakfast and the excellent room service, but the on site restaurant for lunch in dinner is truly outstanding and the views can’t be beat. The staff are all over you, super accommodating. We will return here.

A couple of minor things, primarily safety related. My unit was a large spa suite. Amazing pool to ourselves and the like. To get there requires quite a number of stairs and many of them didn’t have rails. Likewise the pool entries could benefit from rails. I am blind in one eye and going down steps is tricky with depth perception, so some modest additions would be good. Also, the mini bar selection I think could be drastically improved at little cost. They just have one beer in the fridge and it’s an ipa no less. Thailand has many serviceable beers, having one or two and some variety would have been a nice touch, maybe a cheap bottle of champagne too, just to add to the ambience. Make no mistake, these aren’t “horrible” things, but small touches that may save you a trip to the store on your first night.
