Well located and not far from the Seaham beach

Comfy bed. Breakfast. Helpful staff.

Unfortunately, the TV in our room didn’t get any channels, just radio stations.

Beautifully decorated.

Dog fee at £15 per dog seemed excessive, but pretty standard for hotels. Didn’t have any atmosphere and didn’t enjoy the food, was bland.

Everything about it was very good. Only thing that slightly disappointed me was I had asked for wine to be in the room for our arrival as it was a special birthday for my husband, and it hadn’t bee done, I did go to reception and they gave me one to take to the room but other than that it was a very nice stay I requested a large bed and that had been sorted too. We would definitely return to this hotel. The food was also excellent.

Nothing really. It was very good hotel. Excellent location for going to Seaham for collecting sea glass too 😊

A better than expected stay as I normally prefer the brands for an overnight stay

My only suggestion would be to tidy up the exterior of the building

When paying at the bar asked for tip yet we hadn't received food or service we had gone to the bar

Its location is great for us visiting friends and the surrounding area. Plenty of parking. It’s a lovely cosy pub which also does good food at reasonable prices

Room was tired and in need of a paint. Also cobwebs on the ceiling in the shower room and the silicone in the shower was mouldy. At £169 a night it was poor.

Cosy well appointed accommodation with very helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.
