Friendly staff and atmosphere, very comfortable rooms and good food.

Perhaps a slightly wider choice on the menu would have been good.

Everything that you expect when you are staying for B& B, though they did run out of things the second morning

When booking in was told I'd have to wait until 3pm no problem with that, but while waiting two other couples came in & booked in without any problems, a little strange

Lovely room Beds comfortable linen clean, towels changes ever day.

The radiator in our bedroom was chipped an filthy, damp in the bathroom could do with a good clean. Radiator wants cleaning and painting or replacing. Husband had the sausage and mash, the portion in the mash was enough for a 2 year old! I had the risotto which was lovely. When we arrived we were told our room was not ready by an unhelpful member of staff, the room was not ready at 3 pm. We only found out later that they had had a fire In the kitchen, if they had told us that straight way we would not have stayed and gone back later,staff seemed very stressed.

I came to collect seaglass at Seaham so here was perfect

There was a damp smell when we entered our room

Room was spotless and quiet on both nights. Staff were very friendly, food was plentiful and well cooked. The location is great being near to Seaham etc. Live music on the last Friday of the month. Part of the Inn Collection gave us two free drinks if you forego the room clean.
