"Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms in a great location"

I have stayed at this hotel before for business. It has since undergone extensive room renovations and the updates were well worth it. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the couch area to rest a bit after a long day of travel. The area nearby is very walkable and seemed very safe. I also enjoyed a walk around campus. If you need a place to stay to be near campus, this is it.

Walking distance to ISU campus, CVS, Jimmy Johns, coffee shop, shopping etc. Clean hotel with indoor pool and workout facility. Nice lounge area with bar. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Check-in was easy.

Check-in process was subpar. Upon check-in I was informed the room I booked was not available because they were oversold. I was offered a different room which was not at all ideal. I explained that I booked this room several months ago and at the time rooms were available. They said they was nothing they could do. I stated it was unacceptable. I would like the room booked. The employee was upset but miraculously the room I booked was available after a few keystrokes.

Staff went out of their way to help out without being asked. Overall, everyone was friendly. Facilities are excellent. Parking is convenient.
