This property looks like a war zone , rooms need a lot of work, noisy young kids through the night, better off in a caravan park, would not recommend

Rooms stated no smoking with a fine of $350 but bedclothes smelled of cigarettes and smloke detectors had been covered up. The blacony door was wide open when arrived and found it impossible to close. The tennis court had a net half ripped apart and weeds throughout the surface. Thr bath and shover were stained. No one was at reception when arriving or departing. Extremely noisy all night, it seemed drug affected or alcohol affected people were around the site with lobby doors opened all night without a receptionist. Dog barking all night too. The hotel charged $221 even after I paid Last Minute my $20 deposit. Absolutely hated the place as its very rundiwn and other potential guests should beware.

Very simple the place needs to be knock down its run to the ground. So many problems you don’t want to know.

Lovely location, very comfy bed. Great room, but 6 flights of stairs( we are elderly) The motel needs a lot of restoration . Very old( must have been very grand when built) but needs repairs, painting etc

The pictures shown of the property need to be updated as it is very run down and looks like it has been that way for a long time. The main entrance smelt and walking through the corridors we could smell cigarette smoke. The tap in our bathroom fell off whilst showering. There were holes in our ceiling. The remotes to the air conditioning unit and tv didn’t have enough batteries so we had to keep swapping them to use them. Someone knocked on our door at 11.30pm and woke us up. The pool wasn’t clean. The vending machine only had a couple of random items in it. The front desk is not manned 24/7. Would not recommend. Don’t waste your money

Did not feel safe in this hotel. There were police upon arrival and people loitering. Hotel was run down for example shower fittings falling off and taped up

Very old and out dated. We still had beer lids left in our room from previous tenants. Pool was dirty around the edges with scum. Old car left in car park on jacks with wheels missing. In even pavers my 6 year old kept tripping on them. Over charged at check in.

The room was very comfortable, the building and surrounds looked quite old and a bit run down with a few questionable people hanging around. Great location but would benefit from renovations to get the place to a standard most people expect these days.

The property was dirty; run down; and very noisy. The car park is not as secure as the website suggests. The photos of the hotel on the website are very creative; the actual property itself is very run down. The sliding door to the ‘balcony/patio’ of the room did not close easily, and there was damage to the lock - it was not at all lockable. The glass sliding door was extremely hard to close, and the lock required a good amount of manoeuvring to lock the door safely. The room itself was very basic, and very poorly designed. The hotel is very old & weary. This was a very last minute booking; being just before a long weekend, the only accomodation available. Would not recommend - El Largo is over priced for what it is.
