SpringHill Suites Ashburn Dulles North

I had stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. This time the property was not in the best shape. Breakfast was very good but they ran out of food quickly. The service here is lacking. Check out is at noon and the final day went down to breakfast, went back up to room and they were ripping up the carpet in the hallway and already cleaning the room. Very awkward.

The manager was extremely rude. Knocked on our door, saying I’m not going to tell you again to be quiet. It was late when we arrived, we had to use a microwave to make some food. Perhaps they confused us for another room regardless that is not how you handle something like this. They continue to knock multiple times when no one was speaking. Even shared that the manager had his ear to the door, listening to us, which is just ridiculous and incredibly creepy.

The rooms layout was very nice. I really was happy I chose this site. Cannot comment on breakfast since I did not partake. I will probably stay there again on my next trip.

It was good, but the shower didn’t have a good seal and consequently it leaked. We would stay there again if we’re in Leesburg.

Good breakfast

Inflexible and not customer friendly. Seems they are tired or stressed. Rooms were not even ready at 3 pm. I paid all fees including security the day before at the hotel for all my guests so that they check in comfortably but they charged them again. They make mistakes in room selection and make you pay extra fee at the time of registration to give you the correct room. Hotel is in a nice location and is clean but seems management is terrible. Marriot should do much better and we are member anyway.

We booked this hotel through ParkSleepFly. It was great on the front-end: it was easy to find, had ample parking, and we were immediately shuttled to Dulles Airport, not quite 15 minutes away. Our back-end experience was not so great. After a 16-hour journey from our vacation destination back to Dulles, we called the hotel for shuttle pickup and were told it would arrive within 20 minutes. Nope. It took two more phone calls and 55 minutes. This was not at all what we needed after our very long day. The driver said, “Sorry, misunderstanding.” The person at check-in, who took my phone calls, didn’t even offer an apology. The hotel lobby is nice enough, but the rest of the place is old and outdated. The beds are saggy, the boxsprings are exposed, the telephones look like they’re from the 1980’s, the shower fixtures belong in the Smithsonian, and the elevators are slow and creaky. Luckily we were there for only one night. We will not return. There are better ParkSleepFly options. If you choose to stay here, do yourself a favor and use Uber from the airport.

Was disappointed at the breakfast that was served, frozen biscuits with sausage heated up, mini waffles with sugar caked inside, oatmeal was thick they came out and added water to thin out. Bananas brown spots. I booked three Expedia
