Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resorts Fort Lauderdale Airport/ Cruise by IHG

Excellent location for the cruise terminals.

The hotel is fairly basic and the breakfast was mediocre.

This hotel is the worst. I had a reservation there. I showed up at checkin at night and they had a written notice at check in that the electricity was out in the hotel. The front desk clerk then told me that the rooms had limited or no electricity and they did not know when it would be restored. When I said I did not want to stay the front desk manager said I he would would charge me for the room because it was too late to cancel. He was beyond rude. I told him that was absurd and he commanded me to leave the premises which I did. Now they’ve charged me for the full room price on my credit card plus a second charge of $100 without explanation. I’ve never in my life had an experience like this and now need to waste my time disputing the charges. This is the hotel and IHG. I will never stay at an IHG hotel again.

Location. It's very near from de airport.

The air conditioner was broken.

Close to cruise ship. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great airport shuttle.

Wish they offered a shuttle to the cruise ship

Difficult to maneuver in bathroom with the door open.

Para mi la habitación fue cómoda, con suficiente espacio. El hotel nos quedaba en buena ubicación por el lugar de trabajo.

No me gustó que no hubiera agua embotellada. Quiero pensar que el agua podría ser potable, pero al no saberlo no tomé. En mi caso no hubo problema, pero a una compañera la cama le quedaba muy alta y era complicado subirse.
