"Great location, less than desirable stay, desk staff needs better customer service"

The location of the hotel to the event my mom attended the night of our stay.

I had major issues at check-in. The gentleman working the desk first wouldn’t give me the room I’d selected the night before despite it being an hour after check-in time. Then he told me there were zero rooms with two queen beds available. After I questioned it he tried moving me from the fourth floor to the second floor. I explained why I wanted the fourth floor, and magically after wasting five plus minutes of my time he put us in a different room on the fourth floor. The room wasn’t very good though as the fan kept making horrible noise all night long and made it almost impossible to sleep. Not what a silver Hilton Honors member should get.
