Sutra Beach Resort

Room, bathroom and bed sheet not very clean. Didn't use the pool as we staid only for the night to catch the boat to Lang Tengah island in the morning, but also the pool looked dirty. Local place for local people with local food. Food was ok.

A very good hotel to stay. Very nice amenities. Nice swimming pool.

Great view, nice pool, nice staff. Facilities a bit run down but who cares if u have great beach to enjoy for.

The pool and beach is good. However the room needs necessary maintenance in order to serve comfortable to customer.

The room was inhabitable. The pictures put on the internet doesnt represent the real place at all. The concrete/stone floor was dirty. The toilet was dirty with yellow stains. The bedsheet was torn. The wooden panels were rotten with dust all over the floor. We took the garden view, and why the entrance was placed at the back facing the bushes is incomprehensible. It was dark, wet, smelled rotten, and we were tip-toeing all the time. It was rainy, it was cold, and there was no hot water. I don't think there's hot water in any of the rooms there. The pool was big, and the section for kids was tiny. Moulds were growing around the edges. The only good thing was a fair breakfast. Other than that, for rm280 per night, it's really not worth the money. If you happen to drive by the place, please continue with the journey.

The resort is in dire need of major upgrades / refurbishments. It used to be a great resort many years ago. Our room was a bit smelly due to humidity. The pillows were also smelly and need to be replaced with new ones. The bed was springy and not that comfortable anymore, also due for replacement. The bathroom is of a decent size, but no bathtub. Can be spruced up with better toiletries and newer and thicker bath towels. The breakfast buffet was so so, you can get better and cheaper breakfast from nearby stalls. Overall, the beach and pool save the day.

I'm overestimating about the hotel. While it's has a great location with beach frontage but the facilities are not well maintained. Big swimming pool but neither pool tower nor life guard. The green mossy fish pond and smelly sewerage system make us feel uncomfortable. The room is big enough but the pillows are smelly and uncomfortable bed. They should refurbish this hotel to maintain their status.

For the price paid, I expected more but became disappointed. Maybe a little bit of touch up would make this place worthy. Pillows were quite smelly, maybe because it's next to sea? Breakfast were very nice.

Bad facilities such as cafe (poor service - wait for almost one hour for fried rice n pizza). Room's floor was not clean. Drainage was not propoerly built to support heavy rain - water cross on the walking area. Place is quiet, suitable for those who are looking for peace, and just a few meter from beach.
