Chambre correcte et propre. lit confortable. possibilité de garer sa voiture sur le parking de proximité. Restaurant sur place très correct. Petit déjeuner complet en version écossaise. et personnel très agréable.

Nice hotel in a good location on the West Highland Way.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. It didn't start until 8am which was late for most walkers. Most hotels start breakfast by 7am at the latest (some start at 6am). Because it started so late there was a mad scamble of about 30 people waiting to be fed when it eventually opened at 8am. There was only one waitress on duty who was totally overwhelmed. OK, we all got fed eventually, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Excellent location , lovely atmosphere great staff . Evening entertainment great , food good in the evening . Breakfast not very well organised slow and confusing .

The ice cream was very nice at dinner, the rest of the food is best left uncommented on, other than to say it was adequate. We did not bother with any other meals in the Hotel for the rest of our stay, Dinner Saturday was at the Fintry Inn, which was spectacular, and a stunning full Scottish breakfast at the Clachan on Sunday morning. The hotel only have links sausage on the breakfast menu not Lorne sausage, no haggis either, it is not expensive as well. The room was lovely when I eventually got to it, as a registered disabled person who walks with sticks, I was in room 80 the farthest on the ground floor from the reception area. When we eventually fathomed out the hotel parking and that we could come thru the rear entrance it helped reduce the uphill down dale root march thru the whole building including 4 stairs... The best thing about the whole stay was actually the shower, a great size, fabulous water pressure and fluffy towels. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was of a very good quality. The lady on reception on the Sunday morning when we checked out was lovely, efficient and helpful.

Dinner menu was on written on one side of a single A4 page 4 starters, 3 main courses, 4 deserts, it was adequate for the money paid, but did not in anyway shine. to me it was a typical Brakes brothers meal, I am an ex hotel owner. Your staff sadly had no idea when asked what type of potatoes came with the pork and even now nearly a week later I am waiting for an answer to that question. Sadly you had a Murder dinner on the same time, yet your staff sat us at the closest table to the doors to the function room being used, they continuously interrupted our meal, with scream, yells and loud vocals, plus totally inappropriate comments from the main cast members, they totally spoilt our evening. You have several alternative function rooms why did you not use one of those?
