Close to beach and town with great views. Would stay again
Not safe for children as sliding doors to balcony don't lock! Poorly renovated and unclean. Photos don't describe actual presentation. Would avoid.
The location is great however the rooms are rundown (dodge paint and patching) the bed was not comfortable, the airconditioning did not work and the fan in the bedroom only worked on low. Once the sun came up the room was like an oven we spent as much time as possible out of the rooms to avoid the heat. Unless they upgraded the bed to a more comfortable option and fixed the rooms air conditioning units I would not stay here again.
Great hotel and facilities. Close to everything. Room cleanliness was A1. Views were amazing. Jacky on reception was amazingly helpful. The pools and spa were delightful, would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jacky on reception for being so helpful.
The Alexander Apartments accepted my booking late Saturday after a disaster with another complex. I was greeted by a gentleman who was very pleasant and made me feel very welcome. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which catered for all of my needs. I had a beautiful view of the beach and the gardens and pool areas of Alexander apartments are something to adore specially of a night with the lights. The Alexander apartments are located very close to the tram which makes life easy to get around. No parking hassles. I will be returning to the Alexander Apartments for my next break away on the Gold Coast.
The wrap around varandah was nice and we had glimpse of the ocean and broad water, but we weren't able to open one door. Was glad we were only there for the night, think any more it would have been grossly over priced and not worth it.
The perfect spot for a short beach walk to the centre of Surfers with driving access to both north and south directions to see the sights!
staff were very pleasant but did not know we were return customers so we only got a room on the second floor that was quite noisy hotel is very conveniently situated close to all we wanted to do
Had a good weekend stay. Very clean and comfortable. Indoor pool and spa was a very nice ending to the windy days, as was the sauna. Good location, close to pubs and restaurants. Downside was lack of cooking pots, frying pan.
It was convenient. Loved the way we were greeted and looked after by the manager. He was very friendly and informative. He made us feel very welcome.
