Hotel San Roque

Perfect. Just what we needed. The hotel team (reception staff, housekeeping and waiting staff) were all friendly and professional. It felt luxurious but at the same time, calm and relaxed. The breakfasts were great and the evening meals we had there were exceptional. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

We went here for dinner for my wife’s birthday. Absolutely fantastic. The staff were lovely, the food was excellent, really top-notch cooking. We are vegetarian, and there was a separate vegetarian menu with three or four choices for each course. The setting was great too, around a pool. A big thank you to everyone!

The property had delightful regional character. Our Suite was fabulous , spacious and comfortable. Staff ( all ) were superb.

Nothing really , only niggle no TV in English

We just stayed for a week in a junior suite to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and were really pleased with our choice. Our room was the one above the breakfast area looking straight onto pool below. Firstly staff were fantastic they arranged for us to have a special desert selection as part of the meal we booked for our first day there. The standard of food in hotel it top rate we ended up eating there twice it was so good. Reception staff were very helpful with everything we needed. Bar/ wait staff were great at bringing us whatever we ordered to any space in the hotel we wanted to sit including our room. Room was huge even had diffuser on hairdryer! Only negatives it was slightly dark I think due to low energy bulbs and WiFi was a bit slow. It was great to have both a roof terrace and pool area to sit out by roof had better views externally and was a bit warmer but pool was private and secluded and temp in pool was great I went in quite a few times. The location of hotel was very central I think everything was max 5 min walk away. I would totally recommend this hotel to people who like hotels on the smaller side and the restoration of the building is a great job there are so many areas to sit and enjoy it. I would defo ho back.

The San Roque Boutique Hotel is in an excellent location in a charming traditional small town. We paid for a room with a separate bedroom, lounge and bathroom. All beautifully decorated traditionally in wood. The sheets were changed so often and the rooms were cleaned and the bed made every morning while were eating breakfast. The entire hotel is exactly as shown on the website. It’s outstanding and really beautiful. The food at the restaurant was of the highest quality. Every member of staff were kind, friendly and highly attentive. My wife and I would recommend San Roque to any and everyone who likes small high quality boutique hotels.

There wasn’t anything about the hotel or staff or food or location that we diskliked.

A calm and peaceful place to stay away from any hustle and bustle. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. We had a number of delicious evening meals. We particularly enjoyed the textures (not at all rubbery) and flavours of the Calamari main course. Some of our favourite meals in the Canaries were eaten here.

San Roque deserves its 5-star rating! Set in a traditional small Canarian town, it’s a part of the local history and tradition. The beautiful building is impeccably kept, the rooms, pool area, patio, terrace, fabulous restaurant, etc. all provide a peaceful ambience for its guests. But the best part is the attention and services of its staff. Dominic, Lucy, Maria and Manolo were stand-outs! Friendly and helpful, there was always someone on hand to assist, be it for ordering a drink, carrying luggage, giving travel advice. We were even provided a coffee and picnic breakfast for our 4:30 am check-out! San Roque was a fantastic experience and the best part of our holiday in Tenerife!

We have just had our second stay at San Roque and it won’t be our last I’ve seen a few reviews that are in my opinion negative The hotel make it clear on their web site that this is a unique and quite place to re charge and relax Our room 108 was on the first floor overlooking the street ,it was a blend of comfort and practicality. There are lots of areas to relax in the hotel with the pool area, roof terrace and first floor wonderful settee’s . You can’t fail to fall in love with the ambience and charm The art is wonderful in each little nook you discover another bit of art We were lucky to be there for New Year’s eve and OMG it was wonderful . The owner and his team ensured a night to remember . Thank you But what makes this hotel special is the utter care and attention you receive in all aspects of your stay
