You can hear everything. We were kept up all night by someone snoring in one of the other rooms. Nothing in the room to block out the noise except the AC, but that shuts off when temp reached, and then you’re freezing because you didn’t really want coolness just quiet. Went to the bathroom and you can hear everything, could hear full conversations from other rooms. Staff were cleaning before we even checked out, so while you’re trying to sleep after being kept up all night you’re listening to vacuums, people doing stuff in the halls, etc. Basically we paid a lot of money to sleep at a place we couldn’t even sleep at.

Cost was ridiculous. Small town with few accommodations. Price at least 100$ more than it should have been.

Above all I want a good nights sleep when I travel and that starts with a firm, supportive mattress. Such was not the case with the old pillowtop we had. Its time to change the mattress, in room 101 anyway. If you're using Google maps or other to find the property great, but if relying on roads signs, esp at night, you need to be attentive. At the end of the road where the property is located a large seniors residence is being built, the hotel is just before that, however there is no sign on the road, the hotel's signage faces the highway. Would be a good idea to add a sign on their driveway. On the plus side, the staff, like most Nova Scotians were always helpful and friendly and the morning buffet was good.

The gym was terrible and outdated - didn’t even have water available.

The location appeared removed from the main attractions of the area. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and conveniently accessible from the car park. Due to the unexpected 'no records of our reservation,' we were offered a room at an increased rate of CAD43++. We appreciate that the hotel ultimately honored the original booking price, demonstrating fairness in resolving this issue.

We had originally booked a night's stay at BW for 28 May 2025. Due to our revised itinerary, we requested a change to 23 May. Since there was no response to our request, we sent two reminders, (not multiple changes), to confirm if our request was agreed to. Upon arriving at BW, we were informed that no reservation was found under our name. This raises two immediate assumptions: (1) A potential issue with BW's handling of our correspondence within the Booking.com app OR (2) an oversight on Booking.com's part in managing our single request of a change of dates.
