The location near the chateau.

The front desk people were friendly and accommodating as best as they could. We enjoyed the free cookies.

he place is under renovation - keys were being upgraded so half the time the key to your room wouldn't work. Half of the exercise room cardio equipment was not working. The atrium area (ceiling) was being repainted, and workers tools were left laying around after the workers left. The front desk people were as helpful as they could be, but they should have waited until renovation was complete. I stayed there last year about this time and it was great. I found out that it was sold last May and the new owners were told to upgrade by Choice hotel group.

Bsreakfast was very good. Nice selection,

Wish we would have been advised that the whole lobby was under repair. Debirs was all over the place, you had to walk a small area next to wall to get to elevator. Also, I thought the bedding was very worn out. And the first night, we did not work the AC correctly during the night, it turned cold outside, and we were very cold. The thermostat on the wall is not functional. The real heat came from a wall unit, this was confusing.

Hotel is under renovation. It will be much better when completed. The bed was super uncomfortable but it worked for one night on way to Athens. Pretty overpriced for what you get.
