The Elements Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel

I really liked the property it was equipped with everything.

This was our first trip to Playa Del Carmen and we loved the condo at the Elements. It was clean, comfortable, great view and had all the amenities, including a washer and dryer and a wonderful fitness center. We also loved the decor, very reflective of the culture with bright, vibrant colors and art work. This location is within walking distance to several restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. The pool and hot tub were amazing and the access to the beach was the best. We felt very safe there, staff were friendly and helpful. Mr Miguel was most accommodating, answered all of our questions, made wonderful recommendations and arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. When we return, definitely staying here again!! Room 112.

Accommodations were what we expected in terms of space. We all loved the pool. It’s a great pool! The condo we stayed in could definitely use some updating. The plumbing fixtures in kitchen and bathrooms were rusty. Even the metal legs on couches and beds were rusted. Tears on the couch which we were told the owner was aware but yet didn’t replace! The kitchen was functional but cabinets were oddly placed. The stove was missing a knob. The dishwasher is old! We didn’t spend much time in the condo so it was okay overall.

The place was big, the downstairs bathroom smelled really bad, the view was the worst, there was a portable toilet across the street were I saw Lady going to the restroom without closing the door, also the first night it was a nightmare because the power went out and it was so hot and my girls were scared.

Beautifully furnished and very clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay!

We love the Elements. This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel and it is our go to location in Playa. The staff is helpful and we love the rooms and location.

It was great besides the boiler didn't work

Great experience staying at The Elements. Spacious apartment, all amenities provided, good pool and nice beach club. Great to have a personal concierge (Miguel) who organised transportation, gave great restaurant recommendations and swiftly answered any questions. Huge thanks for making our holiday so enjoyable.

The location was great (right on the beach) and the building was actually pretty nice (grounds were well-kept and the suite was nice and roomy), but the service was essentially nonexistent. Waited a whole day to get someone to unclog a toilet, hot tub never warmed up, and they messed up the return airport shuttle. Lighting was either too bright or too dark, and total lack of facial tissues and scented TP were irritating. Sofas were horribly uncomfortable.
