We loved the historic property at Inn at Vanessie. The rooms were unique and quaint. The bed was very comfortable and the room amenities were nice. there was a fireplace in the corner of the room that was an actual working fireplace. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING, like you would pay for at a restaurant, not at all like at a Comfort Inn. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make your stay very enjoyable. There is a bar in the office/lounge area and plenty of seating spaces to relax.

The only downfall with the property, was that the fireplace was very stinky. When asked about it, they said the fireplace had just had a deep clean and they came and sprayed air freshener in the room.

Great location did not have heat half of Friday night In the Suite Reservation. Got charged a $60 historic fee not disclosed with my booking what BS. Fire wood was a &10 charge WOW ……,

The room was nicely decorated. The towels were nice and bed was comfortable. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the Plaza. Parking was easy and felt safe.

It was busy and perhaps there was not enough staff to keep the breakfast items full as the coffee and water were constantly out. Santa Fe is known for its delicious restaurants, yet this breakfast felt more like a heat and serve continental. The pictures associated with our room were not accurate. We were right on the street and could not open the blinds as traffic and passersby could easily have seen inside. There was no balcony nor seating options outside our room (again because we were right on the street). Consequently the room was dark.

We absolutely loved the Inn at Vanessie. The staff were amazing and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything was walkable. We had a wonderful suite with plenty of space including two sitting areas and a private outdoor patio. We loved it so much we got takeout and had dinner on the patio two nights in a row. We look forward to coming back.
