Royal Mail Hotel

Comfortable and up to date facilities.

The whole hotel grounds, bar, pool and cottages were fantastic, the staff were lovely, excellent service, friendly, informative, offered great recommendations and local knowledge. Starting in the cottage was so relaxing and the view exceptional.

Location is magical;fantastic vegetarian/pescatarian food at Parker St Project

More umbrellas around the pool. Shade was at a premium!

Loved our stay and dinner at the Parker Project. The bed was very comfy and room very quiet.

Location, cleanliness, on site restaurant,views, spacious room.

Bathroom was gloomy and no additional light above mirror at washhand basin.

It was the perfect stopover on our way home to Adelaide. The staff were engaging, dinner was delicious, and rooms super comfortable. Glad we paid extra for the view and privacy.

Only other feedback , there was lots of little dead insects in the bathroom. Not a big deal though, hazard of being in a bush location likely.

This is a very beautiful hotel in the iconic town of Dunkeld with views of the mountains from our room. We ate both nights at the restaurant and the food, wine and service were all memorable.

Power failure left us in darkness. No real attempt to advise what was happening and how to deal with it. In addition we were told it had happened more than once in the preceding days. No bill was able to be produced for our dinner as a result. Not even the next morning. We were told to park a distance from our room because the cleaner’s van was parked in the spot. As returning guests I would have liked a better experience.
