The history of the house and how the staff knew it and were proud of it. It was a beautiful house. Also all the little things like the beautiful toiletries that were available to use and the lovely coffee and teas. The comfortable bed with a very soft Waverley woollen mill blanket at the end of the bed. So nice to see they are supporting their home state.

I didn't know there was no lift so my partner had a bit of trouble using the stairs. Not sure if l missed it in their advertising. Also the gorgeous old chairs in our room needed a bit of dusting around the bottom of them.

The staff were exceptionally attentive, the food was very tasty & the bed was super comfortable. A gorgeous manor house!

Unfortunately the acoustic barriers were minimal in our room.

Beautiful old building with "old world charm". The room we stayed in had a peaceful view of the gardens, and was very comfortable. The location was great being half way in between Regatta Point and Strahan village.
