Franklin Manor

A charming historic building full of character, yet well maintained and fitted with modern comforts like a good TV and fridge. The common areas, verandahs, and gardens add to the atmosphere, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Rooms are small but comfortable and the reception isn’t always manned, unsurprising given the size, but overall, if you’re staying in Strahan, this is exactly the kind of place you want.

A fascinating place to stay - it is more than just a room. If you want your own private space to chill out, then the Manor is for you. Playing chess, reading a book, just chilling out in front of a wood fire or catching up on the history of the place, the Manor is perfect, as is the service.

We loved the design , we loved the history. It was close to everything. It was special and unique. They did a beautiful set up for our anniversary. We loved how old school it was. Loved the coffee machine.

They had a beautiful bar and set up but no one to serve drinks or that knew how to serve drinks. I understand we were there in off season but still it did bum our experience a bit. Very quite.
