Bed & Breakfast Danae Villas, Cyprus Villages

Auf Empfehlung und nachdem wir uns ausführlich informiert hatten, beschlossen wir kein "normales" Hotel für unseren Kurzurlaub auf Zypern zu wählen, sondern im Dorf Tochni "traditional Village" eine Unterkunft zu buchen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht, ein Appartement (zwei Zimmer plus Bad) im traditionellen Stil mit ordentlichem Frühstücksbuffet im naheliegenden Restaurant erwartete uns. Wer 4 oder 5 Sterne-Hotels bevorzugt, ist hier fehl am Platz. Wir jedenfalls haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Très belle chambres réparties dans une partie du village , dans des maisons en pierres décorées avec de vieux meubles et objets. Bon pdj , sur jolie terrasse avec vue sur le village. Petite piscine sympa.

Superhübsch gelegen. Dringend Auto. Waren im Haus mit eigenem Pool. Herrlich. Super leckeres Essen in netter Atmosphäre super freundlicher Service in der Tochni Taverne. Ebenfalls lecker schmeckt es in der Nostos Taverne unterhalb im Dorf. Leider nur einmal Zimmerreinigung in der Woche. Für Urlauber, die das typische zypriotissche Dorf suchen exakt das richtige. Wer Party will ist hier falsch. Gerne wieder.

The hotel comprises a cluster of renovated stone cottages at the top of a hillside traditional village with lovely views of surrounding countryside. The cottages are well equipped with air con, tv, cooking facilities and fridge, dining area and each has own shady terrace. Quiet relaxing place: small pool; possibilities for walking and cycling: bikes can be hired thro the hotel. The village has a beautiful old church; small but well stocked shop; atm; couple of taverns serving plain but tasty meals.

Acceuillant, bien tenu. La division des chambres entre plusieurs maisons facilite le fait de ce sentir "chez soi". Cuisine locale excellente et service soigné.

UN ENDROIT CHARMANT IDEALEMENT SITUE QUI MERITERAIT UN ENTRETIEN PLUS SOIGNE .

Die Ferienwohnungen sind in einem kleinen Dorf gelegen. Von der dazu gehörenden Tochni-Taverne hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf das Dorf. Für einen erholsamen, ruhigen Aufenthalt ideal. Schöne Ferienwohnungen mit eigenem Pool.

Très agréable séjour dans cet établissement qui tient plus de la chambre d'hôtes que de l'hôtel. Je recommande cette structure "Cyprus Village" pour effectuer des séjour à Chypre. Le village de Tochni est bien situé. La plage de Governor's beach est tout près. L'autoroute qui dessert les lieux importants de l'île est tout près du village.

Rang the reception a few days before we were booked to fly out to confirm details as we were arriving very late (in fact about 1.00am). Really helpful on the phone and sent us directions, though in the event it was still quiet confusing (probably because we were so tired) and we missed the turn off for the place. Once we found it though, it was pretty obvious. Woke up the next morning and had breakfast in the restaurant, but we didn't repeat this and instead took advantage of the self catering facilities. We did enjoy our stay. We ate at the restaurant once (it was okay but nothing to shout about), but used other places in the village as well. Overall it was a great place to chill out and relax and get away from the noise and bustle of Lemosos, Larnaka and Paphos.
